Spring cleaning is in the air! Richard and I decided to go through our garage and our garden to reorganize and refresh. Looking through all of our supply of material really stirs our mind; helping us come up with better ideas for future projects, while allowing our supply to stay well maintained and preventing things from breaking or prematurely wearing down. There were a few areas of our yard that had been taken over by weeds. It took a full day at each spot to help the healthy plant survive and to fully take out the weed, but now our garden is healthy, can really blossom, and has room to breathe.
Starting in the garage, Richard and I swept, organized his tools, and went through all of our reclaimed wood supply. Opening both doors allowed air to wind tunnel from one end to the other, giving us the freshest sweep of cool spring air. Taking out all of our wood supply really helped open our mind to new craft ideas. We have some new categories we will be diving into in the next coming weeks and also some short fun projects. We set aside some small planks of wood and made really fun custom signs. We will be selling these signs in bundles for events like weddings and bridal showers or separately for home decoration.
