Today is about appreciation. The winter is so still and cold, the silence is needed but also endless at times. Richard and I enjoyed ourselves this winter by spending time together, snuggling with a cup of hot coco and taking in the blissful and peaceful snow. It was a well enjoyed season but we are so thankful that the warmth is here. We spent all day outside today just in celebration for the Earth and spring. The animals are out and about, feeling the wind in their feathers or fur. We had tons of cardinals, bluebirds, bunnies and squirrels racing about chasing each other around the trees and through all the bushes. We hope everyone takes the today to stop and smell the roses, watch the birds fly around, go for a hike through your nearest park, or play with your animal friend! We love bringing our cats on a walk with us. They have their own harness and leash. We love the outside so much that we can not deny the sun and the fresh air from our fur babies!
After having to spend this past week apart appreciation, for Richard and I, is about more than just the environment. We are spending time today to really appreciate our time together, every minute and every memory is a blessing to us. This life we have created together is our personal fairly tale and even through the obstacles of life we would never change anything. We are building this lifestyle so that we can be together everyday and celebrate our love for each other and the world. We took a midday nap on our hammock in the sun after walking the cats. Laying down together and feeling the sun on our face was a time of pure happiness. Mother nature is healing to the mind, soul, and heart. Even just sitting on a bench with your face in the sun for five minutes can put you in a better mood. We want to honor Earth Day with some beautiful pictures from our garden and recent adventures. Please enjoy today, these pictures, and this Earth. If your even more adventurous tell us how you strived to be use less plastic. We are so excited for adventures this spring and summer in life and in our business. We are going to get back out there before we lose anymore daylight and get some yoga in! Live Simply.
